Yep, you can buy just about anything on eBay. People have sold friendship, dinner dates, dirt, pieces of burnt toast, naming rights for a baby and a soul (eBay stepped in and put a stop to those last two).

Now an American eBay seller is offering The True Meaning of Life (no, not the Monty Python film) for sale.

Scarlet00100 (whose page has a creepy animated character that looks like Storm from the X-Men) describes the item rather mysteriously: "Does life have meaning? Would you like to know what purpose you have in this world? Now you can stop wondering. Life and the living has purpose. One half of the proceeds go to charity. Please give your self the opportunity to know the answer. What the true meaning of life is."

And it's just US$5! Unfortunately, Scarlet00100 won't ship the Meaning of Life outside the US, so we won't be able to find out what it is down under. Presumably, if it can't be sent internationally, it's not something naff like: "Be excellent to each other".

It doesn't appear that any of Scarlet's eBay feedback relates to this item either (it's mainly positive, but also mainly relating to t-shirts and car parts).

What could it possibly be? Based on the image the meaning is... a nice vista. The description above makes me think of the sort of pamphlets that get thrust into your hands by door-knockers on the weekend.

Footnote: apparently the Meaning of Life has already been sold once on eBay, where is commanded just $3.26. Maybe Scarlet00100 was the one who bought it and doesn't need it any more, or perhaps Scarlet00100 is, like so many other eBay users, a scalper (albeit one with very small profit margins).

The hippy crowd is so not my scene. I mean, it's cool and all, but I can only take so much self righteousness!! They're the nicest people though. On the way back to the car, I was carrying our seats in this bag over my shoulder and when we got to the car there were flowers sticking out of the top. Someone had just stuck them in there! That was kind of funny.

^ for some reason my family doesn't believe in eating traditional "breakfast foods" or whatever for breakfast, so we kinda eat whatever happens to be laying around....Ramen noodles is one of the more normal things i eat for breakfast. =D

I just finished watching and Macca was great! just as witty as ever, and he played Get Back and a song off his new album but I can't remember the title. he played outside on the marque and there was tons of people all down the street, I would of loved to have been there! I must see him live now! He talked quite a bit about what it he though about the Ed Sullivan concert in 1964 and some other Beatle stuff.

AHHH I'm gonna watch it this weekend... It'll be my birthday gift to myself (on Saturday) lol. Man, so busy lately! I started my new job on Wednesday and then I had to go into the Chek last night... then I worked 4 hours at the new job and then 4.5 at the old one! Gonna be rich by the end of the summer lol! (or earn back all the money that I spent on my new computer!)

Does anyone know a cure for mosquito bites? I have a lot of them, and they're huge, and the anti-itch stuff won't work.

If nothing helps, press a cross on the bite with your fingernail (one, two, ready!) And press hard. It helps me.

Well, this is a really strange trick that my mom told me about.
You're supposed to mix meat tenderiser with water to make a sort of paste. Then you put it on the bites.
I kinda works for me. It's really weird, though.
