My brother's wedding last Friday was a real life Hugh Grant comedy...
First his wife's father had to do a speech, but halfway through his very first sentence he got so emotional that he couldn't talk anymore. So he gave the piece of paper with the speech to his wife, who then took over. She was so focussed on reading everything right that she finished with "I want to wish you the best of luck, on behalf of myself and my wife Annie".
A short while later one of the three little kids that had to give them the rings ran out of the room. Nobody payed too much attention to it as little kids do things like that. When the time came to exchange the rings, we heard a little voice saying "Tjuk's gone out to pee!". And Tjuk was the one that had the rings. Everyone started laughing and then the boy's mom came rushing in: Tjuk didn't have to pee, he'd lost the rings and was looking for them! Eventually his father found them in the car, but was locked out of the building and had to wait for a few minutes until someone noticed him and opened the door...
