I know I sound totally humor impaired, but I see nothing funny about people getting their kicks by sliding down an inflatable "sinking" ship slide. Hundreds of people died a terrifying, horrible death, so how on earth could someone come up with this concept? I never once let my children go on one.

Do they have those in Europe, or is this only an American thing?

No, I don't think we have those here, I've never seen one. Hopefully we don't have them, anyway, it sounds incredibly tacky and insensitive. I even got a bit annoyed when these kids at the cinema started laughing when the ship sank. Sure, it's only a movie but you can atleast show some respect to all those people who died.

KE, I've never understood how young people are supposed to get you-know-what (I don't want you to explode) if they aren't given a chance. Personally, I would have no problem taking on someone who is willing to work hard and learn. Just about any job has a learning curve anyway, even for those with ______ and someone who is fresh and eager would be an asset, I would think. Anyway, I hope you find something soon; I know how frustarting it was for my daughter when she was job hunting.
