I've actually been so stressed and depressed I missed all of last night and today. I just got up and started watching, with my daughters.  :)

Nah, I'm sick with anxiety over the shutdown. Sometimes I wish I were only a mannequin with one month a year to experience the real world. That's about all I can stand of it lately.

My random thought tonight:  I was just thinking about Sophia, the robot.  She was activated on Valentine's day in 2016 so this week's Valentine Day, she'll be 3 years old.  So far, her answers to interviewer's questions are Alexa and Siri style, meaning she's not really cognizant of what she's being asked.  She's simply "generating" answers based on data inputs.

She started out as a robotic talking head, but now she has a body and recently has started walking.

I can only wonder about the future as she continues to evolve.  It's very intriguing to me.  She can currently see and hear.  I don't know if she can process sensations yet.  But - one can only wonder what the future holds for her.

Yay!!!! Gone With the Wind is being released on the big screen (nationwide, I believe, but definitely at our local theater) next weekend. My friends and daughters all have plans to go. (Unfortunately, my one daughter has to see it with her friends up in Grand Forks. I had hoped she could see it with us.)

I haven't seen this on the big screen in about 35 years. It's much more fun with a crowd. The audience always booed Leslie Howard and cheered Clark Gable, and laughed at the funny parts. It is SO much better on the big screen than on a TV screen and/or alone.

It's nice to have something to look forward to during this long, freezing winter.

Waa! I don’t see it on our AMC ‘s website. It’s probably coming everywhere except here in the boonies. I’ve never seen it on a big screen. But I’m glad you have it to look forward to.  :)
