I was checking out my son's lesson plans online (he's a senior in high school) and noted that in Advanced Placement English this week, "transidentalism" (transcendentalism) is being introduced. That's an unsettling error for an English teacher to make. Also, they will soon be starting Into the Wild. Seriously? In Advanced Placement English? I've read that book, and it was good, but I'd hardly count it as quality literature. Sheesh.  roll:)

I would have thought with half the world going into self isolation, this forum would be a bit busier. If you’re at home and can’t go out it seems like the perfect time to develop ones thesis on how the Beatles music is a manifestation of String Theory or vice versa.

I agree Moog.  For doctors here in the US it's all hands on deck so I have certain hospital responsibilities that I must attend to.  But I still have time to interact about The Beatles, and other topics, on this Forum.

Things are pretty much shut down here too, the extent of which I'm not entirely in agreement with.  I won't go into detail but one important matter I've been briefed on is the unreliability of the current COVID-19 testing used which has a high number of false positive results.  This should be of solace to everyone concerned.

I think the mass hysteria is rubbing off on me.  I'm going into hermit mode and I started to hoard beer.  I think it might be a good time to continue the solo Beatle microscopes.  Cor said he was going to do ATMP eons ago, but I think life got in the way of that so I might try to start with that one.

Ah well. Have to be careful, I'm one of the high risk group. Asthma, heart valve, and my age.

Those celebrities who did that awful video of them singing Imagine (if you haven’t seen it someone will send it to you at some point)  really are very annoying.

They inevitably bring out the “John Lennon and Beatles suck/are soooo overrated” crowd.

I admit I haven't been around for some time, but I have been once in a while in the last few weeks. Ah, we all come and go in a certain degree, don't we? And I am one of those people who is currently quite busy, corona or not. Soooooo, if you want to do the ATMP Microscope, be my guest!  ;D
