tkitna: Taking your wedding photos makes me think she still has some feelings for you. As for the other photos, I think it's okay that you saved some for your dad and grandparents. They may treasure them for different reasons whereas for you those photos are causing a lot of emotional pain. Don't regret your decisions. You're probably doing what you need to do to cope as best as you can. As time passes, you are likely to have mood swings. Although there's a lot of hurt, the ongoing anger is likely the biggest elephant in the room. I think anger is the most challenging emotion to deal with in some constructive way. Your inner anger can destroy you if it continues unchecked and without resolution or closure. I'm not a therapist but I worked at a crisis hotline for 5 years long ago and did volunteer work for several mental health organizations. Relationship break-ups can deeply impact your self-esteem. "Why would anyone betray me or leave me? Why would someone stop loving me?" It hurts me to think about these questions even though my remembered hurt is from decades ago. Try to find peace and whatever scraps of happiness you can (don't resist the impulse to feel happy occasionally and don't guilt-trip yourself about it). Peace - healing - love - always.
