Probably more than anything that is what will make it worth making our wallets and purses lighter over. Hearing his captivating voice will make it far more enjoyable. Not only did he have the best vocals, but also the best speaking voice. When I hear his speaking, it's like he's demanding my attention.

IMO a pity that he didn't 'say' more, I mean about the crappy world situation, than he did. I think people listened to John, for what he had to say. You know, the human progress, of the progressive Beatle. It will be nice if that kind of social comment comes out in his narration.

I watched the DVD last night--haven't checked out the extras. Great to have on DVD, but it's as if they did nothing to enhance the video, it almost looks like a copy from a VHS, very grainy. Still nice to have. Having little to no respect for Yoko, I do have to say the fact that Cynthia was given a few cameos, and that she included John saying respectful things about Paul (including the stunning comment that 'Steel and Glass' wasn't about Paul, but rather about John himself), was at least partially conciliatory, so I respect that, tho' methinks the other producers may have prodded her into tossing a few bones. Nonetheless, a nice edition.

I've heard that it was about Allen Klein (read carefully the lyrics, I think it makes sense). By that time John, George and Ringo were having...mmm... problems with him, but later he realized that it was really about himself

Yes it is certainly about Klein, but many also thought it was a continuation of 'How Do You Sleep', as they are quite similar.

Yeah... but by that time both (John+Paul) were saying -in public- that a reunion could be posible so it maked no sense, even then. So those people were blue meanies 'cos there were other similar songs in Sometime In New York City LP, well ... in John's career.
Less sense now that we know they even played together in early 74.
