Whats your favorite scene in Let it Be?
« on: May 01, 2005, 04:35:59 AM »

I've watched the movie a lot of times and I love it.  My favorite scene in the movie would have to be the part where George is helping Ringo with the song Octupus's Garden.  It's such a nice scene because you can tell that their is no ego involved, just friendship.  But you can kind of sense some tension when John and Paul arrive, then the bad vibes start coming in.  Another scene that I like is when they are rehearsing I dig a pony.  John is sitting next to Yoko and she looks over at him and starts smiling, then Paul stops playing Bass and starts yawning and then he looks over at John and starts smiling in a friendly way.  I don't know why I like those scenes, maybe because despite all the fighting they where still friends and you can tell in the scenes that I mentioned.  Well whats your favorite scene?

The Octopus Garden part is my favorite too. Both Georges kinda laugh at Ringo when he's singing the song and then Harrison tries to help him... that was really cool.
I also like the Two Of Us performance and the long jam session with Billy Preston in Savile Row

The concert on the rooftop proving the Beatles were still a solid rock & roll band despite the internal friction between John & Paul at the time is my favorite scene from LIB.

Said this before. Like the scene when Paul is explaining the footage from their trip to India. Very funny.

I agree with Wayne. The rooftop gig was special.

It's funny when George gets the electric shocks from the mic, but no-one else does.

Oh, and when they do the funky little version of Long and Winding Road. Reminds me of elevator music.

I sais this before.

There is one scene that is great, where Macca does this cool move with his bass and launches into I've Got A Feeling with a mighty crunch of the band coming in with him. That may be my very favorite second of all of Beatle music.
It's spectacular! Paul's waaay into the song - particularly love that shout of "Good morning! Wooo!" from him.

I love London, and I like all the Savile Row scenes best. I went there on Saturday, to take some pics - to get modern versions of the images from the film, to compare with them like this:
