That's $383 for the box!

A box designed by someone who thought calling himself/herself "Psycho Bunny" was a good idea. For some reason I picture Basil Fawlty selling these things.   ;D

120gb iPod Classic $238
13 CD's @ $13 each $169
Guitar Pick $5

Making a grand total of $412.

That's $383 for the box!

Excellent point...  I was just wondering last week if it would be cheaper to buy all these things separately instead of getting the whole set.

Ugh. That is so stupid to me. If the iPod is designed for hardcore Beatles fans, then why would they have to buy the entire set? hardcore Beatles fans would already have all the CDs.

Absolutely right: and if those hardcore fans have to shell out for another set of CDs they should at least be the first ones to get the remastered version for their 800 bloody dollars.  :)

Steve Marinucci reports that the iPod's price has dropped to $499. If it comes down another hundred or so dollars, it'll actually be good value for the money provided you need a set of Beatles CDs (outdated or not) and don't mind cheesy packaging.

^  Good to hear that.  The initial selling price was absolutely ridiculous anyway, especially in this economy.
