It's funny how we talk about a weak album yet so many super Beatles fans and collectors want access to everything they recorded no matter how bad those recordings may be. If the WA had been a single album, it would have leaked out that all these other "rejected" songs existed and everyone would have been losing sleep wanting to hear them.
I don't think the Beatles could say something like "hey, that's wasn't good" or "that piece was not worth a listen." People would want to hear those songs anyway.
