I saw on the news earlier that Strawberry Field is closing.

Thanks for the info Beatlegirl! :)

It will be really sad if they turn the whole site into a housing estate but that is probably what will happen. As long as they keep those legendary gates.

It was in Beatlefan Magazine that the gates are protected.

Phew!!

Someone actually stole them a year or so back - the guy didn't realise their historical significance and was about to melt them down for scrap!!!
