Yep, I agree 100% with that! I love his early stuff and still look forward to his new releases - Thursday's Child is superb!

Great songs, great voice, great look, great drugs....the ultimate rock star (though I think the world could have done without his waterloo Sunset).
Ziggy Stardust is my favourite bowie

What can I say?
"Sound and Vision"
"Station To Station"
"Moonage Daydream"
Perfect songs from The Thin White Duke.

I don't particularly like David Bowie's music, but I've been to one of his concerts once and I must say it was quite entertaining. I had a good time.
And I love the song he did with the Pat Metheny Group, "This is not America".

I like Bowie. I saw him in concert in April 2004.
My favourite song would have to be Rebel Rebel.

About the Thin White Duke? It was what he was called for a while because of his looks. I guess they still call him that!
As for Bowie being gay, he was. For a while anyway. Then in about '82, he announced he was giving up that life style. Then he got married so I guess he's sticking with the straight life. I'm sure a lot of rock stars experimented sexually. Like Jagger.
