I think it's cool they are trying to market them to the kids. One of my students parents mentioned she might get the Kids Beatles, then she said, "I might as well get the real Beatles. No one can do it better than them." I did kinda make a face when she said Kids Beatles though.

Apprently there have been others before, I just don't get why kids have to sing it? Its not like the Beatles ever used explicit lyircs or anything. whats the point of making it an album with kids singing?

I don't know, kids relate to other kids better than adults and I think an album like this might encourage them to sing along more and get into the music a little more.  Either way, these songs will get planted in their heads and a lot of them will probably grow up to be huge Beatles fans because of it.  I don't see anything wrong with that.

What about AHDN? The whole song is about sex.

Anyways, I think that album is totally wrong. the kids will grow up listening to some butchered version of their songs and maybe they won't like it as much as the would have if they heard the original.

Yeah excatly, the instrumentals were all wrong and it was mostly just singing, and you cant really have a good beatles song without they awesome instrumentals.

Besides how can you have Twist and Shout without John's voice?!

Okay some lyrics would be seen as explicit, but c'mon Puff the Magic Dragon was even seen as a explicit song, but does it make it better to have kids sing it?

Having your kids listening to crappy versions of Beatles songs is still better than having them listening to the regular crappy music that kids listen to these days.
