Better listen to it first!
Oh, OK -- maybe I didn't listen far enough. Back to the thread!....Hm, not to my exact "taste," ha ha, but I actually do like the song. (And, of course, if I like it, that's pretty much a guarantee my kids won't )
...an' some gizzards. Mmmmm...Mmmmm. Goo...ood! An' frog bellies, cornbread and possum jelly.Mighty fine!!!
Great idea! I'd been threatening Falco's "Rock Me Amadeus," but I think I like your idea better.
Yer makin' me sick!
That would be a good choice! My son and I were actually discussing this song the other day. He heard it on the Seneca Nation of Indian's radio station, which plays quite an eclectic mix. You might hear the Beatles one minute then Tiffany. I've got another idea for you; one that used to make my daughter cover her ears and run out of the room. It didn't help that the pastor at church camp played it over the PA system every morning at 7:00.
Me, too!
Daisy Mae, Betty Jo, Bobbie Jo, Billie Jo, an' Ellie Mae sure didn't turn out so bad eatin' them vittles...
Granny would have put some meat on them girls. Like she did on Ellie Mae...5:53 "Watch them buttons, child!"
Granny may have cooked up some potent vittles but Kellogg's helped too: The Beverly Hillbillies Kellogg's Corn Flakes Commercial (1966)
That's because they needed extra food in the house for Jethro.
In North Carolina it's Post Toasties...
Jethro could eat a whole crate at one sittin'! And that's after eatin' several helpings of deviled owl eggs, smoked deer meat, grits, and cornbread with possum jelly!
Did you eat Post Toasties when you lived in Mayberry?
