I guess the word "calification" does not exist. But I suppose you understood me; I meant "rating" or "score".

I like your word, too. I think it could be used to describe the process of adopting the ways of California. For our purposes here it could also be used when one is discovering the California sound of the '60's. I listened to Jefferson Airplane and my Calification began.

The word in Spanish is "calificación", a noun. And it's a common confusion to translate any word finishing with "ción" to "tion". For instance "transformación" is correctly translated to "transformation", but that's not a rule to be applied to any word!
