*Adopts cheesy salesman accent* "Boy, do I just love that taste of milky freshness before a show!"
Milk. It's Beatleicious.

Those Milk ads always cracked me up. Any vocalist knows never to drink milk before a show.

Makes me feel ikky! never liked the stuff. I expect they glugged a lot of it as wartime and post war children were encouraged to drink a lot of milk, was seen as v healthy, though it was rationed. Drinka pinta milka day!!

In the sixties we lined up every morning at school to be force fed our compulsory bottle of milk. Never fun in the summer after they'd been sitting around in the sun for a few hours.

I know what you mean, Kevin. All the way through primary school, we were forced to drink milk every day, even if we couldn't stand the stuff. Backfired after they force-fed it to a kid who was lactose intolerant though...

Margaret Thatcher took free milk away from primary kids in UK (well, England, not sure about Wales Scotland and N Ireland) and became known as Margaret Thatcher milk snatcher. Although that's not what she's known as in our house....

LMAO Beatleicious. I am so using that.
I hate milk, and we are served milk at school in primary school, but I don't recall being forced to drink it. Thank god I can just buy a bottle of water at school now.
