That would have been probably the best, but history decided  the other way, so, if............

Maybe John had tried to come into contact with Paul in those days.......
Maybe they would have had recorded some fine stuff together..........
Maybe the others would have had joined the band too.............
Maybe I'm amazed of the way that life goes all the time............
