The Beatles will ALWAYS be number one to me because they gave rock & roll a good kick in the ass in the 60's & their music is timeless.

Reasons:

I'm a fan of Elvis, but he was just a singer and an entertainer. He didn't even write music.

And Michael Jackson, I doubt if his music is as timeless as the Beatles'. Much of it already sounds dated to me.

The further from his head you  go the better he seems to get. But Jacko's a wacko remember, maybe even mentally crazy and artisticly, so I wouldn't go there.
