Rubber Soul is what woke me up.  I bought a suede leather jacket.  And a guitar.

It's still a favorite album cover.  Only John's looking at the camera.

*gives Raxo overdue credit* :)

*sigh* If only I could see them like that in my room...  ;D

I adore this album cover for all the reasons listed above, but number one for me is George's cheekbones. Was there ever a better bone structure on the planet? Or, as Richard Williams of The Guardian said:
Quote
George ... was born with the kind of lost-angel looks - hooded eyes, good cheekbones - that all rock stars should have.

To me, the stretched Rubber Soul cover portrays that perfectly.  :)

Hmm, not bad. I'm kind of drawn to bonier facial structures myself. Ms. Welch always struck me as very beautiful:

Michelle's always done it for me. And we're the same age, do you think I stand a chance? :)

Apparently she's married to David E. Kelly, some writer producer type, who looks like Jon Bon Jovi! Still, I think I have a chance to steal her away!

You're right. I remember an interview with him when he said she had the most perfect face in the world, and no one else could ever understand the joy and happiness he felt with that being the first thing he saw every morning.

That's right, BlueMeanie, think positive! I'm sure she'd love to meet you. Perhaps the nurse can smuggle her in?

I'd settle for the second thing he saw every morning ;D.

Interesting to hear Bob Freeman confirm Paul's story, The End. Not that I thought it was particularly controversial, but I seem to remember hearing that story before the Anthology series; it must have been in a Freeman book or someone who was quoting him. Thanks!

Yeah, Robert Freeman's book came out a long time before the Anthology series aired.
