It just seems that whenever I ask if anyone likes a band, everyone says that don't. How do I know that someone won't start bashing the hell outta me?

Mmm, ask if someone likes The Beatles. There's a lot of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin fans here as well...

Jet doesnt seem like they have an identity and they sound bland.  Franz Ferdinand has fun with music

I actually like them. I have their album and occassionally put it on. It's fun to imitate the guitars. :)
