Whats your favourite wood???

I am a big fan of Birch, and am most fond of the Beautiful silver birch tree. Let us know what your favourite wood is, be it a nice softwood, like balsa, or a more sturdy wood, like Lignum.

Jimmy was a great guitarist , he is sadly missed  :(

My favourite wood is NORWEGIAN of course , but i`ve always loved the smell of burning Bracken , brings back childhood memories every time i smell it . 8)

I'm a maple fan if we're talking drum sets. If i'm burning wood in the fireplace, i'll choose elm and locust. If we're talking rock stars, i'll choose Ron. Natalie if we're taking actresses.

favourite Wood... Elijah!  :P

I used to do WoodWork in my old-old school and we had a long poem about different types of woods. Pity i dont remember it...
