Designer who dressed Beatles for Abbey Road to appear on new stamp
Tommy Nutter, known as the “rebel tailor” of Savile Row created the outfits worn by John Lennon, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr on the cover of the album, and also designed the suit worn by Jack Nicholson in the 1989 Tim Burton movie Batman.

Only one 'Yellow Submarine' screening now at Beatles festival, but it's free
After revealing last week that the Beatles film "Yellow Submarine" would be screened several times at the Abbey Road On the River Beatles festival, organizers said Monday that there will now only be one screening, but it will be admission free.

The Cottage Is Planning Beatles Blast 2012
The Cottage Tuesday will ask the Crystal Lake City Council for permission to host Beatles Blast Saturday, June 16.
The downtown event would be held near 6 E. Crystal Lake Avenue and would include a Beatles Acoustic competition, a dance competition, Beatles trivia quiz and a memorabilia display.
