I tried a Squire not too long ago. They are so cheaply made the frets nearly tore the skin off of my fingers. Its worth the extra money to go with the real thing.

Was that for Squire guitars?

My experience with Squire basse (both jazz and precision models) are that for the price they can't be beat. They come real close to the same quality of a Mexican-made of almost twice the cost.

When I have that sort of money, Ill buy a better one.
But The Squire Series is fine at the mo.

Well, that's what counts. As long as you like the sound and the instrument suits you, it doesn't matter what the price is.
