The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...
« on: February 25, 2005, 03:20:03 PM »

I'm a bad newbie; makin' a thread. >_<;

Anyway -- has anyone else 'ere read it? I think it's an awesome book, really random British humor with some sci-fi. One of my personal favourites.

...and it's gone the book-to-movie route. . . really hope that turns out good. x.x Gah.

Best 4 book triology ever wrtitten. sad to say I called ny cat Zaphod Bebblebrox and had the recipe for a Pangalactic Gargleblaster on my kitchen wall (this was the 70's) and could actually recite Vogun poetry.
So sad when Douglas Adams died.

Um, please tell me those "trilogy" comments were jokes. :)

I heard that Zooey Deschanel is going to be in the movie, which is great since she's a terrific actress.

yeah, shes going to play trilly. and mos def is gonig to play ford prefect. i love the fact that it is a colorblind cast and that they didn't focus on the race of the actors, but rather their talent.

yes, it is a 4 book "trilogy", well the cover says so anyways. one of my favorite "trilogies"

Certainly. Good old BBC special effects. I didn't like it too much because everyone on it were such arseholes.
Captain Scarlett is the program that holds special memories for me.
