Icons?

I've noticed many of you guys ahve icons with changing images and I am extremely jealous.

Does anybody know how to make one of those and do you need some sort of software?

I used to make crappy animations with Microsoft GIF Animator. You could try that.

You can use Adobe Photoshop but there are several other programs that are easier to use like the one Mairi mentioned. You can also look for them on the internet, this site has quite a few
