Where Is The Mega Super Group Of The C20th?

The great artists and bands are getting on. Many have semi called it a day. Now they've so much spare time and talent, will there ever be a mega-super-group - consisting of...say, guitarists like Brian May, Dave Gilmour, etc. - drummers like Ringo, Bill Bruford, etc. - keyboard players, like Wakeman etc. - bassists like Sting, Paul Weller, etc. - and a host of vocalists...all getting together to make a mega album of mega talent?

Even if it's only cover versions of rock classics. It might be the culmination of the whole rock music scene now they're getting older. Just needs someone big in music to suggest it perhaps. I hope it happens.

Too be honest i wouldn't really be interested, and i don't think it would be that good anyway..some people in music are only brilliant through certain partnerships, ect, like lennon & mccartney, and simon and garfunkal.

By the way i saw Rick wakeman the other week.......         i think ::) :D
