3 or 4 part harmony in "What Goes On?"

I was just wondering about this today, can someone help me please?

How many voices are in the chorus of "What Goes On"? There's Ringo's lead, and Paul's high voice. And I'm pretty sure I hear John, the one that drops down half a step in the word "On" just before "In your heart?".

But is there another voice under that last one (the one I think is John)?

GOD I LOVE THE WAY YOU GUYS DISSECT A BEATLES TRACK DOWN TO IT'S BARE ESSENTIALS !!! I LOVE YOU GUYS---NO WHERE ELSE I GO DO PPL LOVE THE FAB THIS MUCH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres a few tunes that spring to mind that has, buried harmonies...Two of Us is certainly one, You Never Give Me Your Money, Don't Let Me Down are just others where the 4th harmony 'pads' that magical vocal chord.

I guess looking at this objectively it does seem a bit (?) over the top, but it's just what I do! I do love the Beatles!!  :-)

no, no, no...it's great--looking at great art from the subjective P.O.V. is the most important way--that's the way the boys wanted us to hear them in the first place---viscerally. The analytical should always be secondary. I never "think" first when I hear a Beatles song...I feel first, then I think.
