Many thanks to everyone who has wished me a happy birthday, you are all friends. Among my presents the 8th and final series of 'Bewitched', a fantastic coffee making machine - the one that George Clooney advertises, special equipment to shave my head, because I now have the bald look! plus various other niceties.
Talk about a trapped nerve. I have had terrible pains below the waist and all down my left leg, which sometimes almost seems to freeze up, so the GP is sending me to a pysiotherapist. Trapped nerves are fairly common, my one is a big one taking up the entire left leg from the hip to the toes, I think it's call the sciatica nerve. But you can get trapped nerves in your arms, your shoulder, all over your body. Some of them go after a while, some take two years to disperse, others have to have drug tratments or minor operations - plus, of course, pysiotherapy trratment.
Lots more things planned for the John Lennon Season. I'll be interviewed for the 'One Show' on September 30, presenting the EMI John Lennion package at A Hard Day's Night Hotel the following day and recording a Japanese documentary the following week.
Also my latest book should be published at the end of the month. I'm pleased that I started a 'Mersey Beat' facebook a few weeks ago and already have a few hundreds friends on it, with lots of Beatles and Mersey stuff. I also have Twitter. I think it's under merseybeat1961.
