Couldn't agree more.

Fashion went absent without leave (has it ever recovered?) somewhere in, or maybe slightly after, 1970.....i.e., and I don't think it's a coincidence, when The Beatles split.
Check out pictures of The Stones or The Who or The Kinks in 1966 v. any time after 1970 for proof.

So far, I've learned that music and fashion both died in 1969. What else? I'm scared to ask your opinion on cinematography... ;D

From Bill Harry's The Paul McCartney Encyclopedia...

Martha

The most famous of Paul's pets and the first real pet that he ever had. He acquired Martha when he moved into Cavendish Avenue from Ann Davis, a breeder in High Wycombe. This Old English sheepdog gained immortality when Paul used her name in the song 'Martha My Dear'. Martha was born in 1966 and died at the age of fifteen in August 1981 at Paul's farmhouse in Scotland.

One of Martha's puppies, Arrow, appeared on the Paul Is Live album...

Wow. That's a very long life for any dog but especially for such a large breed. They don't usually live as long.

I read that Paul stayed in the barn for several hours holding Martha and crying after she passed away.

At least you're learning something, Ovi!

So, you think the 'Abbey Road' sleeve would have been enhanced by The Beatles being dressed like The Rubettes?
You honestly think that the 'Black & Blue' era Stones look better than they did in those Linda photographs taken in '66?

Really?
OK.

Very cool! I believe dogs are a gift to show us total loyalty and love even when we don't always deserve it. it's hard to let that go!

I'd like to know about the parrot on Paul's shoulder!

It was just a prop.  According Stephen Goldblatt who photographed The Beatles' Mad Day Out:  "They had recently recorded “Hey Jude” and so Paul is playing “Hey Jude,” and they’re all singing, and the parrot is just a prop that Paul’s girlfriend brought along. She was the prop girl. It was taken in the Mercury Theatre in Notting Hill."
