I also thought, at first glance, that it said Canada Dry down at the bottom of the page. (I'm assuming you thought that.)  ;D

I don't know. Maybe. Just came to mind. I have a vague recollection of some old-time comic doing this one on TV when I was a kid. Probably on Ed Sullivan. Can't say who, though. It fits so many.
