Work Work Work!
« on: March 28, 2004, 05:24:39 PM »

So what do you guys all do for jobs?

I am a student and work part time at A & W (you know the rootbeer) as a waitress. Good job for I get to live in the 50's for awhile.  Tons of old cars come for shows and I get to wear the poodle skirt and go out on rollor blades...quite fun... oh and not the new ones either... the old ones which the wheels get stuck and I almost fall over hehe. I've been working since three weeks after I turned 15 and I can honestly say that working there is the best. And it is nice to be able to say my first boss was great.

So where do you work now..? Any stories of your very first job?

I work for a property insurance company. Woohoo!  ::) Been working there for two and a half years now. Hopefully not for much longer as I'm looking into going back to school.

My very first job was delivering papers when I was ten years old.

I'm a desktop publisher/graphic designer, but unfortionately I'm unemployed at the moment cause when the economy's down, the first thing the big companies will cut down on is advertising, which means less work for the grapic design people. I lost 2 jobs last year because the companies were doing so bad that they couldn't afford me anymore.
