Had a job interview today on my birthday and -- get this -- got an invitation for another interview this morning for early Feb! How's that for birthday luck? Woot woot!

We had some visitors this morning! Our herd of deer came to the chicken coop for a look see. We put fresh hay on the frozen ground /snow in the pen so they can scratch but the deer must have seen it and came to investigate. Chickens were not amuzed, squawking their alerts and then running up into the coop! Everyones hungry by mid winter.
Cute!!!!!! Why do men just use women? I want to be Spock for a while.... have no emotions, dont care or think too much Grrrrrr!

Nah! Go parading!
YAY just stumbled across Gone With the Wind on TCM, just beginning. I already have the DVD, but this is a nice surprise indeed. Now if I could just see it on the big screen again! It's best with an audience.
I was lucky to see it on the big screen at The Loew's Paradise in The Bronx, the way it was meant to be seen. It jes' ain't fittin' to watch it on TV. That's one great movie! Scarlett and Rhett cross-purposed for four hours. The only ones with any sense were Mammy, Melanie and Belle Watling. Enjoy the show, Kathy.
Gone with the Wind (1/6) Movie CLIP - Scarlett Meets Rhett (1939) HDThere's medication for her kind of behavior today.
I love the way Mammy can read Scarlett like a book. ("I ain't noticed Mr. Ashley askin' for to marry you!" priceless!)
