God, thats tought. I voted Tell me What You see. It get's blasted all the time but it's a quite beautiful song and lovely harmonies and great guitar and bass guitar parts. I don't Want To Spoil the Party is a close second though. Good poll.

I think George really liked that one too. I remember hearing them noodling around in the studio in the later years, and one of them played the opening riff, and he said something like, "Yeah, that was a great one!". Could have been in reference to the studio substance de jour also, I suppose!

I don't think " Lovely Rita " gets enough credit ? it's the second best track on Sgt. Pepper's after  " A Day In The Life " :)

yeah, Lovely Rita is a brilliant track!, you don't hear it that much.
i think Macca should do it in his next live shows!! c'mon macca,
let's hear some hidden gems!  :)

"Tell Me What You See" is great.  I love the percussion in that song.  I love the melody and words.

Personally, I think the most under rated / under appreciated track of the Beatles canon is Hey Bulldog.

i totally agree, it's a very underated track by them! they play great on it, the
piano lick is cool, macca's bass is ace & the guitar solo is one of George's
wild gems! oh yes, & not forgetting the hilarious ad-libbing at the end! :)

I really think that "Wait" is a good song, with the transition between John and Paul with th fast paced, kinda high pitched urgent WAIT then with Paul's, deeper more relaxed "I feel as though..." it's just nice to listen to.

I like 'Wait', though I think it would have fitted on Help! (what it was recorded for) better than Rubber Soul.

I have always wondered why they didn't put it on Help!, for there's a couple of songs that are not as good as Wait on that album.

I'd have had it instead of 'You Like Me Too Much'

Paperback writer/Rain- (everything is awesome about these tracks they're all playing on top form, George and Johns guitar work compliment each other so well, Ringo plays his best ever drum track on rain, and Paul's bass work is blistering).
Ditto. I love both of these songs - wish Rain was more publicised, 'cause it's really just great. ;)

PW isn't underated though, is it. I'd agree with Rain. I think because it was a b-side, a lot of people still haven't heard it!

Yeah, a lot of great B sides got ripped off publicity-wise, particularly George compositions...I know Rain is most definitely John's work, but poor George often got ignored in the face of a Lennon/McCartney creation...

That's an interesting way of looking at it. Let's face it B sides are universally ignored, regardless of who created the A side. If "poor George" was a better composer then maybe his songs wouldn't have been relegated to B side obscurity.  :)

As far as I know only The Inner Light was a b-side written by George.

I agree, Help! has a fast tempo and Wait would fit better.
