I don't think Peter Cook is that well known over here, but for some reason, I've always know who he was. He would show up a lot on t.v shows or talk shows. The only movie that's coming to mind though is The Princess Bride. But I know I've seen him dozens of times. Probably because of Dudley Moore. I still can't get over the Gilligan thing.

Little Daveram would'nt no about such stuff Sondra , in those days it was inoccent pleasures like Match Box Cars  ;D
It's the older guy in the sailor hat i remember , was he in Casey Jones about a train driver ?
I wonder why it was only shown briefly in the UK it looks like the kind of show that would have caught on .

LOL! I don't know. I started having a crush on Paul as soon as I saw him. And I couldn't have been more than 7 or 8! And no, it wasn't in the 60's. I wasn't around for the original Beatlemania.

And speaking of Mork and Mindy. I always thought these two looked a lot alike:

Most guys have fond memories of it because of Ginger and Mary Anne. There's still this never ending ongoing amongst guys about which one was hotter.  ;D

Right!  But there was never any doubt as to who was "hotter."  That was Ginger.  The real question has been "Who do you like better?"

I liked Mary Ann.  I think it was the pigtails.

Sondra, as you keenly observed a few weeks ago, you neglected to post these two:

I don't know what you think, but I've always thought that Mary Quant is like Maureen Starkey with short hair.
