My dad's former secretary gave me the 'Beatles 1962-1966' vinyl the other day. It was very nice of her. :D

I wish I was someone who got stuff given to them...my friend had someone just give her a guitar because he never played it.  >:(

I've gotten random Beatles gifts from people before. I once wound up with the individual White Album photo prints (from the old vinyl packaging) simply because someone didn't want them anymore.

I have another friend with lots of Beatles stuff, and she says she'll donate them to me if she ever finds them. (I hope she does!!!)

Thank you, they are a neat thing to have. I have a used copy of the White Album on vinyl (from my hubby's collection), but it didn't come with the individual photos or a poster or anything. Guess the original owner kept those for him/herself.

Now I just keep my White Album Paul photo print at my desk. ;)

Octie is very sweet, but I guess she has been busy lately. Hope to see her around some more if she has the time.

I just bought 4 US magazines that come from 1964.  There's one mag per Beatle and it's typical Beatlemania fare, full of quaint references to how to form a fan club, and J or P or G or R's address!

Also bought an Australian ep, called "Penny Lane", with the same pic as used on the UK Million Sellers ep, and a 1963 UK pressing of Please Please Me (album) and the UK single of "Let It Be".

That's it for now, prior to the box sets!  ;D
