I've bought the Band On The Run LP in a second hand shop today :)

I bought a black and white hoodie from Hot Topic. They're jumping in the air, and it has the Apple logo on the zipper.

I look from the wings of the play you are staging. As I'm sitting here, doing nothing but aging. While my guitar gently weeps.

They actually have quite a bit of Beatle stuff at Hot Topic. I'm gonna buy something else from them next time I've got some cash flow. XD

An original '67 stereo Magical Mystery Tour (Capitol, all BMI credits), a Canadian mono original 'Beatles 65', and a first press Capitol stereo Rubber Soul (earliest edition where they forgot to print 'The Beatles' on the labels! It's near mint too, and still with it's shrink-wrap! Love it :)  And each one for under a tenner from Ebay!  Can't be bad!!
For me, as a UK based collector, it's a nice treat to get these original US releases too; too see how the other side of the pond got our Beatles!  And I love the look of those old Capitol labels-very elegant, as were our old Parlophone labels:)
Sorry....getting a bit anorach-ish there ('nerdy' for the American readers!).
Cheers,
Steve.

Two weeks ago...a vinyl mono tube-cut mono Revolver-sounds very nice!
And I'm bidding on a Hörzu (german) pressing of Sgt. Pepper's!
(You can probably tell I'm very much into the old LP's at the moment... ;D)

There's nowt wrong wi'that! It's the best way to hear them :)
The new CD's are great, but the original vinyl still rules!

I got a Beatles calendar last weekend. It's the first time I ever saw a Beatles calendar being sold at a shop (in the town I live, at any rate), so I absolutely had to get it! It's going to make a nice New Year present for KE ;D (even though she already knows about it). And... I got one for myself too :D
I'd ask my friends to come and see... an Octopus's Garden with me ^___^
