I think the Beatles classic rockumentary Let It Be is great & highly underrated for some reason even though some fans don't like it because it shows the breakup of the band but I think LIB showcases the Fab 4 at their finest creating, arguing, jamming & rocking on the rooftop near the end which proves they were a solid rock & roll band at the time despite personal & professional disagreements between John & Paul who could have toured back in 69 with the possibility of playing Woodstock.

I agree. I like to watch LIB, it's really interresting, even though it has the 'break-up' feeling.
My fave part is the rooftop concert.

Bruno

when are they going to release LIB on dvd?

I bought a copy of LIB off ebay. My fav part is when paul brings his daugther in and she bangs on ringos drum and he acts like she made him jump its sooo funny

Fool_on_the_Hill

does the movie include a part from the rooftop concert? How long is this part?

mattb_uk

The End

I watched this a few weeks back - it always ends up depressing me!

The one you bought off ebay is probably the one I bought, which isn't the original. The original is super long isn't it?

I heard it was going to be this year - but they keep putting it back.  Apple seem to like releasing stuff on anniversaries nowadays - on May 20th it will be 34 years since the film first premiered in 1970; but I reckon they've missed that deadline already!

Thanks for the info The End.

Does anyone remember seeing the Sesame Street parody of the song "Let It Be"? They called it "Letter B." For some reason it just popped into my head.
