My daughter can pre-order items for her dorm room through some university-sponsored vendor (at who knows what kind of markup!). I'm just getting her some sheets (because apparently they need a special size to fit the mattresses; hmmm], but I'm going to order this piece of wall art for myself. It's a little goofy, but I thought it was cute.

Nice sign, Kathleen.  I'm happy to see you helping a new generation of college students decorating their rooms with Beatles posters.

When I was in college, I sent away for the set of Richard Avedon Beatles posters and hung those up on the wall near my bed.  I wish I saved those because I paid a whole lot more a few years ago for the same set.

Kelley, I was planning on buying everything for my daughter at Target, but I got an email from the school saying that if you order bed sheets through them, they are guaranteed to fit. Apparently the mattresses are XL twins. I don't really want to get suckered in, but I do want her sheets to fit. I've noticed this same offer on other university websites <cough *scam* cough>.

They also offer everything from pop-up hampers to shower flip-flops at totally outrageous prices.

I think the Paul, John and George posters are ok. I'm not sure a naked shouldered Ringo holding a dove is something I ever want to be greeted with when I wake up.

No, just the psychedelic posters.  I still have the LOOK Magazine that has the fold-out banner and the psychedelic posters.

I had this one of Bob Dylan on the wall too...





It was 1968 and those posters were far out!  I still have the Dylan poster which came in his Greatest Hits LP.
