Hello Goodbye

I think the Paul, John and George posters are ok. I'm not sure a naked shouldered Ringo holding a dove is something I ever want to be greeted with when I wake up.

My favorite is the Paul poster, Moog.  It's the easiest to look at...

This one?

Yeah. The ad said that you could get it free if you bought the four psychedelic ones.

It's got the whole swinging group!

QuoteIt was 1968 and those posters were far out!

They still are. WAY out!  ;D

Hello Goodbye

I must've given the banner to my sister, Kelley.  I was only interested in the psychedelic posters.

Anyway, the first eBay purchase I ever made, about fifteen years ago, was the set of four on mounting boards.  They're in better shape than the ones I had on the wall.  I think I paid about 75 dollars for them.

I think you got a good deal, Barry. They seem to be going for more than that now, at least for good originals. I've always wanted those but I may have to settle for reprints. Reprint postcards maybe even!

Hello Goodbye

Yes, mine are originals.  The good thing about the ones I bought is that there are no wrinkles in them.  They were shipped in a tube and sloppily rolled up.  I guess they're not worth as much as unmounted prints but they sure look better than the ones I had.

Hello Goodbye

That issue of LOOK sure was an attention-grabber...

I think some people pulling that out of their mailboxes in 1968 would have laughed if someone told them to hang on to it. I'm glad that wasn't everyone.

Hello Goodbye

Right, Kelley.  My father had a subscription for LOOK for his waiting room.  He came home one evening with that issue that had just come in the mail and asked me if I wanted it.

YES!

The Traveling Wilburys Boxset. Did not really expect to see it but thought ah why not Looka good next to my Beatles Boxsets.

Last thing I bought was a small necklace with the logo on it in red font.
I am posting on an internet forum, therefore my opinion is fact.

I was given a Beatles Monopoly game and a Beatles Trivial Pursuit. I like them so much I don't want to open them up and play them. Is that stupid?

You need to get another of each to open and use.

Welcome to the forum, Mike!

No, I can relate to that! Welcome, Mike.  :)
