I could watch them all day long!   ;D

Yeah, I saw that you posted them over on the John Denver thread. Since you're probably going to watch line dancer videos all weekend anyway I want to challenge you to find one that features a really offbeat song. You know, like Helter Skelter or something.  ;D

Let's not forget the What's the weather like in your country or state? thread.

Yes, there are only two dancers but Postulate 1 of Euclidean Geometry states that two points determine a line.  ;)

My first thought was "Eww. North Dakota." ha2ha

C'mon, Kathleen.  Legendary North Dakota is very cosmopolitan with its bustling urban centers like Fargo...

Well, the photos you posted do illustrate one good thing about living here, Barry: There's almost no traffic. And it IS better than rural Nevada.  ;)

That looks just like Buck's now! But please, don't start telling a bunch of corny jokes. ;)

Hello Goodbye

Corny?  Nuh-uh!  They's were funny jokes!   ;D

Sonny James, Pat Boone, Barbara Fairchild, Johnny Bench, Conway Twitty & Loretta Lynn, Johnny Cash, Johnny Rodriguez, and George "Goober" Lindsey don't think Hee Haw's jokes are corny.

One of my favorite segments on Hee Haw!   ;D

I'm happy that my new guitar is called The Bakersfield.  It's an homage to Buck Owens who helped pioneer the Bakersfield Sound in the 1950's and 60s which was in sharp contrast to the heavily orchestrated Nashville Sound.  The Bakersfield Sound genre of country music gave rise to country rock and groups like CCR and The Eagles.

Here is probably the first Bakersfield Sound recording...

You know that guy who was always crying? He appeared in this clip. They called him Weepin' Willie but his real name was Harry "King" Cole. He was the master of ceremonies for Boots Randolph at the county fair in Clearfield, PA the summer I turned 10. I got an autograph from old Harry King Cole who probably was a merry old soul when he wasn't in character.  ;D
