Couple more years then he will have been dead as long as alive, sad to imagine.

All these years on and the events of that day still seem beyond human comprehension.

What amazes me about your thought is that more "celebrities" aren't murdered out of jealousy and whatever was going through his delusional mind.  Thankfully there aren't that many people that get to that space and act on their thoughts.

Two quotes of John's that I always enjoy reading this time of year:

"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

Another year, gone 41 years, wow...my brother shares his birthday with today's anniversary, always a conflict of a family birthday joy and the reality of the downer of the day for us Beatle fans

I found this tribute to John, on the anniversary of his murder, extraordinarily touching, especially the last bit, with Paul's voiceover. I really hope others are able to access this. I believe even people without Instagram will be able to watch it if the account is open to the public, as this one is.
