It seems I must have heard of this before, but a search of this site did not reveal anything.

(I don't totally trust myself, because this past weekend when I was on my phone, on hold with a restaurant that had gotten my order wrong, I irritably asked my older daughter, "Now I can't find my phone — have you seen it anywhere?" ["Mom; you're ON your phone." ]

Anyway, this upcoming Beatles documentary looks interesting: https://variety.com/2024/film/news/beatles-documentary-martin-scorsese-disney-release-date-1236176871/

Thanks for posting Kathy.
I will look out for that.

Has anyone seen the new movie about Brian Epstein... Midas Man yet?

It does. Am looking forward to seeing it.

I am really looking forward to this! I must be; I was all set to switch our TV subscription when Hulu told me our live TV and Disney package is going up. Now I'll keep it for a bit! As for these devices of ours, don't feel bad. I do stuff like that all the time. It's because they do so many different things.

That was my thought process exactly, Kelley! I got an email the other day notifying me of the impending price increase, and I resolved to start paring back my streaming services. But when I saw the article about the Scorsese documentary I decided to keep Disney+/Hulu for a bit longer. I think Paramount Plus will get the ax instead.

Thanks! My daughter and I got a pretty good laugh out of it. Then I told her about the time a Tide pod had burst open in the container and made the other pods all slimy, so I tried to rinse them off. Of course, they all dissolved as soon as the water touched them. Ugh. Not my finest moment. But she shared she had done the same thing with dishwasher detergent pods, so I didn't feel too bad.  ;D

I think those are perfectly reasonable reactions! Like Hulu, those things are expensive!

I've been thinking about this meme that my late cousin posted on her Facebook page in 2017. She was one of the most organized people I've ever known so you are in great company!

Now, I've never known anyone else who found a sealed gallon of milk in a load of freshly washed blue jeans. Yep, I did it!

I meant to say, Kelley, you'll have to share that story some time!

Well, this happened years ago, when our laundry was still on the first floor, just inside the back door (which I did not like). I did a load of jeans and was shocked to find a gallon of milk when I went to put them in the dryer. It was completely intact and the washer never went off-balance. This was a machine that routinely walked itself halfway across the room if you even looked at it wrong. I had been grocery shopping earlier and I guess the milk landed on the washer. Apparently the lid wasn't closed and it got bumped. Things were wild here in those days!

The trailer looks great. Supposedly there's unseen footage in it (Ron Howard must be quietly seething)

I know the scenes right after they tell us about the newly discovered footage is newly discovered footage. 😊 Paul's telling someone to "defy convention" and John's saying that they are "jolly English". I love discovering cool new stuff!

The adult version of the young man with the movie camera at 1:55 called into The Fab Fourum on SXM last night. I can't remember his name but his efforts to get down to Ed Sullivan's Studio 50 have been rewarded all these years later. He managed to get footage through the window of the Beatle's car as they arrived and we'll be seeing that, too! I wish everyone could listen to the replay of last night's show but I'll at least listen to it again and get his name.
