I created the first thread. I popped up the question, long time ago. But I cant seem to find that thread. Maybe it was deleted. It was getting all bloody ya know.

That's funny.^  And we are still undecided about the Ahhh's after all that. Let's all write Paul. After he gets hundreds of letters asking the same question, maybe he'll hold a press conference to reveal the answer to the great unsolved mystery that's driving Beatles fans crazy everywhere. Or at least at DM's. :D

i think they sound alot like the aaahhhhs in lucy in the sky with diamonds which believe me to be led towards the john side....but the blending of the two seems more feasible...john then both john drops paul continues john joins back in and paul stops...ya dig???come on and zoom zoom a zoom

I think they sound a lot like the aahhhs at the beginning of Lovely Rita. Which of course led to the Paul side. But I agree with the blending thing. I hear Paul at the beginning and then John. But Paul can sound like John, so it could be him all the way.
