Right. Classic stuff. I like the U.K. versions, of course, but those instrumentals are fun too.

;)

Slightly off topic, but . . . Last week my 14-year-old daughter accidentally threw out her $300 retainer at lunch at school! I had specifically warned her about this, esp. since I did the same thing when I was 14 (but, ahem -- anyway), but luckily my own first replacement was free.

I'm still irked thinking of all the Beatles items I could have bought with $300 -- quite a few books, for example!  >:(

Oh Kathy; I feel your pain...three times over! My daughter did the same thing that yours did once and then had another appliance simply vanish into thin air. (I think she threw that one away too.) Then there's my son; he brought his home in a napkin from Arby's and left it on the the kitchen table. I didn't even know it was out of his mouth until I heard one of the dogs chewing on something behind the couch. It didn't sound like a toy because it wasn't. I sure hope you won't have to replace any more!

Thanks, Kelley! That is exactly what my daughter did -- that is, put it in a napkin, even though the orthodontist gave her two cases specifically so she would have one for school and one for home! Grrrr. Ah, well, it makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only frustrated parent (not that I'd wish a retainer-replacement fee on anyone)...!  ;)

I just hope she was extra nice to you today! Did you have a nice Mother's Day?

Yes, I did, thanks; did you? My elder daughter was quite sweet, as were my other two kids. It was nice to have a break from their near-constant bickering of late!  ;D

So, Kathy.  Was today back to the usual bickering?
