Hello Goodbye

Enjoy your Capitol Beatles discs, Dirk.

I bought their last LP the first week it was released in 1970.  It's labeled The Beatles Again...

Later pressings were labeled Hey Jude.
I can stay till it's time to go

Hello Goodbye

Nice set.  Hope you're playing them.

I was in error before when I said that The Beatles Again (Hey Jude) was their last LP.  It came out a few months prior to Let It Be because its post-production by Apple was delayed.

So, the Hey Jude album was an Apple release, not Capitol.  I guess it's part of this set because the LP has been out of print for a long time and, with the standardization of Beatles CDs in 1987, was never released in CD format.

As I bought my LP within a week of its release, the record labels say The Beatles Again.  Later pressings had labels which said Hey Jude.

You just received them.  You will play them more as time goes by, I'm sure.

Do you have the two Capitol box sets from a few years ago?

I just bought the Beatles 1st US Visit 2014 calendar, and a Beatles 2014 mini-calendar, and I also reserved my copy of the Beatles US albums box set at my local record shop, for pick-up on Tues.  ;D
Peace, Love, and Beatles!

I can try... it might take me a little while to get it all scanned/uploaded, and possibly converted, but, I can see what I can do...
Peace, Love, and Beatles!

The last things I bought were a Hard Day's Night t-shirt (looks like the album cover from the movie soundtrack with the tops of their heads and just their eyes), a Beatles record player ornament, a deck of playing cards, and a "Revolution" sticker for my guitar case. Lol. Got all of it at www.thefest.com. I bought the shirt to wear to a tribute band concert (Hard Day's Night) I'm going to February 8th, and just wanted yet another shirt anyways, haha. So excited! The stuff still has to come in the mail.

Yeah.  She had a good time.

I prefer the cover art of the United Artists A Hard Day's Night over the Parlophone release...
