Please Please Me ***** (my fave, energetic, driving and highly enjoyable)
With The Beatles **** (contrary to what a lot of people say, I think it's a strong follow-up)
A Hard Day's Night ***** (great songs, very cohesive, a step forward sound-wise)
Beatles For Sale *** (a little lacking, but good moments)
Help! **** (not the best but just about earns four stars)
Rubber Soul **** (solid album but a little shaky in places with the musical transition that's underway at this point)
Revolver ***** (diverse, fresh and delves into the little explored)
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band ***** (the big masterpiece, varied, powerful and creatively awesome)
Magical Mystery Tour **** (good collection of songs that continue to push the usual boundaries)
The White Album **** (hugely diverse, wonderful contrasts, occasional dips in energy but overall fantastic)
Abbey Road ***** (a beautiful piece of work from start to finish, strong and confident, hugely enjoyable)
Let It Be **** (a collection of songs that are individually credible, surprisingly strong considering its creation)
Generous, I know, but I find most Beatles albums very strong in different ways.
