The Grass Roots
« on: June 18, 2011, 03:15:21 AM »

This band seems to be forgotten, but they had several Top 40 hits from 1966 to 1972. Maybe they abused too much of orchestration, but they knew how to do a catchy song. These are some of my favourite songs from them:

Grass Roots - Let's Live For Today [Very Good(-) quality / No mpg4 resolution]

Grass Roots - Midnight Confessions [Very Good(-) quality / No mpg4 resolution]

The Grass Roots- Wait A Million Years *Stereo*

This song is definitely part of my life soundtrack! It played a lot the summer I discovered that I could put my transistor radio on my bike's handlebars.  :)

I always thought Dylan wrote this one for some reason, but I guess i'm wrong. Good song.
