A Hard Day's Night Prologue
« on: September 05, 2011, 02:51:17 PM »

Do you think that the 1980s prologue of A Hard Day's Night was shown somewhere else besides the US, like maybe the United Kingdom?

If you say so Daniel... Yes.
And now you've changed your mind, I see no reason to change mine --Lennon/McCartney

From what I've read, Daniel, the I'll Cry Instead prologue was added by Universal Pictures for the 1982 United States theatrical reissue of the film.  It also appeared on 1984 MPI Home Video VHS, Betamax and Laserdisc releases and 1997 DVD release.  I'm not sure if the prologue was seen in theaters outside the United States.

I first saw the prologue when I bought the VHS release in the late 1980s.  It doesn't appear on my A Hard Day's Night Collector's DVD Set.
I can stay till it's time to go
