! indeed. I love it! Now can you find full-length versions of the two yesterday parts? The color is great.
I could only find one...
I remember taking my sister to a local department store where The Cowsills were doing a record-signing. My sister struck up a conversation with Susan that went on for over twenty minutes. They were good friends by the time I had to take my sister home. They were all genuinely friendly to all their fans that day.
She got Susan, John, Paul and Barbara's autographs that day...
That's a nice keepsake of a special day. Thanks for sharing those pictures, Barry.
The Cowsills did Act Naturally in their 1969 In Concert album. It's not on YouTube, but you can hear a short clip here...http://www.amazon.com/gp/recsradio/radio/B000002Z88/ref=pd_krex_dp_001_008?ie=UTF8&track=008&disc=001
Ewww,,not a fan of the song and love the Cowsills, but that might be the worst rendition of that song that I have ever heard.
That was John singing lead. He was 12 at the time. You have to hear the whole song on their live In Concert album. Their hit single Hair came from this album.
It was cute. There's some good stuff on that album.
It was the Summer of Love 1967 and The Cowsills had a hit with...The Rain, The Park, And Other ThingsThe Cowsils_ The Rain, The Park, & Other Things
This was a huge hit for them way back! it reminds me of any of the best songs The Mamas and the Papas did. Good song!
^That outta be a great show, Kelley!I'm so happy to see The Cowsills still touring and sounding as great as ever.
