I knew about the book but I didn't realize there was an album involved. Just when I think I have everything I want! I love the BBC era so I am really looking forward to both items. Then I can stop. Really.

Most of the BBC stuff was released on the previous well known album. My guess is that an new album would consist of a few not officially released things plus other takes on songs The Beatles took from their albums. By the way, the complete radio stuff was once uploaded in the bootleg section.

Are you sure?

Yes, I'm quite certain, unless they decide to release "Let it Be" on DVD. I'll make an exception for that.  ;)

Lay's Potato Chips commercial from the late 1960s.

I remember that Barry! It's true, for Lay's potato chips and Beatles stuff. But after I thought about it I did get to wondering what else there might be that I haven't found on YouTube. It's kind of been like a treasure hunt these past few years. Cor, I remember what you said back when I was new here and mentioned "Live at the BBC": "I'm very happy with the set. But somehow it was frustrating too. I had been collecting the songs from the BBC sessions for years, especially the ones that had never been released officially before, like Clarabella and Soldier Of Love. And suddenly it was all released, well, most of it."
Now I understand that better!  :)

Listened to some of my Beatles at the BBC CD again. There's some really good stuff in there. I like the interviews before the songs.

The first time I listened to this I had borrowed it from the library. I wasn't sure if I'd like it because I didn't know a lot of the songs. Well, it had me hooked from "I'm Ringo and I play the drums"! I always loved the Beatles but this is what made me want to dig deeper.

I'll get these at some point, as I've only heard the original, which is going to be remastered also.

I prefer to pay for things. Is there much chance of a 3rd volume?

We seem to be getting "new" Beatle music every 3-4 years, there's enough material to expand the Anthology series too...

That would be a nice birthday present! I was throwing around Christmas hints tonight involving all this.  :)
